2014年11月1日到2日举办的ACCV Workshop中，实验室博士生刘昕、李绍欣在山世光研究员以及美国CMU的Alexander G. Hauptmann教授的指导下所做的关于 “Everything is in the Face Represent Faces with Object Bank”的工作获得了第一届“Feature and Similarity Learning for Computer Vision”研讨会的最佳论文奖，并在workshop上引起了极大的关注。FSLCV workshop是随ACCV举办的第一届关于特征与相似度学习的会议，吸引了众多该领域的专家与学者参与。
